I’m going to say no on a technicality. It’s called a “pie” not a pizza.

    Is this Utica, PA?

If so: while technically, this is not a crime because it’s called a ‘pie’ and not pizza, Pennsylvania must be stopped.

It is, I had it. I tried choking it down New Year’s Eve 2017 throughout the whole day and it was awful. Made a depressing day that much worse.

Tomato pie is great! Utica, chicken riggies and tomato pie baby!

  5. CaptServo

Utica is where Albany residents go to realize things could get worse.

No crime. Utica Tomato Pie is delicious and is only pizza-adjacent and doesn’t claim otherwise!

    Not guilty.

Furthermore I propose that OP be taken to court, for the crime of frivolous litigation

This is a basic bakery-style pizza. Don’t people call them “Grandma pizzas” or something? I see no crime here. We see plenty of pizzas on this sub that aren’t covered in mozzarella.

They’re not even calling it a pizza

I see nothing on this box to indicate the product is a pizza. I have made open face sandwiches that can resemble what I am looking at in a different size. They aren’t pizza. Is every flat bread with sauce and a dusting of cheese a pizza? I doubt it.

I thought tomato pie was a Philly thing

Uncooked and cooked look _identical._ Impressive! Confusing!

Man this looks a whole lot like bakery pizza in RI. Not a crime, but not really a pizza either.

  14. BenGrimmsThing

Frozen? Yes. Tomato Pie is wonderful though.

  15. Past_Trouble

All it need is some green peppers and some crust

  16. It says tomato pie and not pizza. So it is not pizza. A pie is something else – as in “a pie”. So certainly not a crime.
You are just a confused American making then life worse by calling a real pie “a pie” for some reason also call a pizza a pie

Looks unappetizing but it can hardly be described as pizza in the first place. Looks more like tomato sauce on bread that barely resembles pizza.

    Tomato pies fucking slap.

    That thing though……

  19. evd1202

Snitching on yourself. Tomato pie is bomb

I think it all depends on the crust and the sauce. I’m not opposed to the absence of cheese from a pizza. Also, I’m thinking this might not be considered a pizza but could be tasty.
